I am a retired Social Worker with a B.A. in Social Work from the University of Akron. I currently hold a LCDC III licensure. I held a seat on the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board from 2009- 2011. My career in this field has provided me with a full spectrum of treatment interventions for working with at risk populations. Generally, I work well with people and try to help those who feel their voice is not heard. I possess strong writing skills and problem-solving capabilities. I am familiar with system protocol, policies and procedures that govern substance use disorder. In addition, my history of service speaks volumes to my ability in providing input regarding program outcomes that affect those who are adversely impacted by the disease of addiction. Some leisure time interests that I enjoy consist of decorating, yard work/landscaping and working out, as physical exercise enhances our mental performance and contributes to an overall healthy lifestyle.
